So... i don't dare see when the last update i posted in here was, but here's this one!! lol

1) I have business cards. I'm wanting to start this business for real. i have a couple commissions lined up *fingers crossed* i just wish i had somewhere to do it that wasn't in my bedroom with three cats helping me. *sigh* i wish we had a two bedroom, with one bedroom for sleeping, and one for my sewing stuff. that would improve things greatly i think. *sigh* ah well, i'll add it to the list of "Someday"s

2) i have actually applied to graduate school at SIUC. I'm looking into their theater - technical lighting - department and i'm trying to figure out what to do to get assistantships and funding. A huge boost to my personal self esteem... Uncle Booboo called me yesterday to see if i could throw together a lighting design for his highschool theater class's production of Ragtime i think it was. If i had had a little longer time frame i probably would have, but he needed it in like two weeks, and i don't even have lightwright on my comp atm so... :=/ BUT when he realized he needed one all of a sudden he thought of me, and that makes me happy. maybe when i do get out of gradschool i really will know enough people to do that for real. *crosses fingers again*

3) My job is mediochre. Yes that does mean that it's not great, no benefits, stupid hours, stupid people, blah blah blah. BUT it also means that i'm not miserable while i'm there, i feel like i get treated like a human being for the most part, and i - over all - enjoy the job. so i think on the big scale, that i come out ahead there. Also, i've already got the Sunday after Thanksgiving off which is nice to know now, and i'm hoping to be able to work it out so i can make it to church for the advent services... at least some of them... *having run out of fingers, crosses eyes*  lol

That's pretty much it in my world atm... i have my Boo and I Love him more than words can express. i enjoy Video games - working my way through Kingdom Hearts: Chain of Memories and enjoying that a lot, along with Culdcept on the Xbox 360, and i'm thinking about trying Guitar Hero World Tour... oh and also Prototype i started and am enjoying.
